Hand painted farmhouse Bavarian Armoire / Wardrobe, folk art, Germany, 19th century (around 1805-1820).
This handsome cabinet / wardrobe is an attractive
combination of colour, original painted with four cartouche framed hunting scene paintings, some of it exquisitely detailed.
The wonderfully armoire has unique construction, shows a pair of cabinet doors that open fully on
iron hinges to reveal a large space on the inside.
The original lock is located on the right and left doors and the cabinet may only be opened using this keys.
An outstanding example of early nineteenth century painted furniture.
The lovely cabinet is easy to disassemble for transportation.
This magical cabinet can be placed immediately as well.
