Lovely small sized oak cased early 20th century mantle clock, with 8 day Buren platform escapement movement in GWO, is behind a silvered dial with James Walker ltd, and Swiss made marked, and is housed behind a silvered bezel with bevel edged glass. The movement, keeps reasonable time final adjustments may be made by moving the index at the top of the dial to regulate gain or loss. The backplate is also silvered. The whole being housed in decorative oak case mounted on bun feet. Condition - scratch on the silvered dial shown in the picture - wear to numbers and a v small piece of wood missing from the top right hand corner. The case has a wonderful patina with an expected aged finished. Comes complete with double ended key, the small end is used for setting the time.
