The top section with a carved flared cornice above astragal glazed doors enclosed mahogany adjustable shelving and panelled interior.
The lower section with fall flap, boasting marquetry work, enclosed leather writing surface, miniature drawers and pigeon holes.
Below, a drawer flanked by fall flap supports above two long drawers. The drawers fitted ring pull handles with dovetailed jointing and mahogany lined interiors.
Raised on cabriole legs.
The top screws into the bureau for additional stability.

Very good condition. Structurally very good. Woodwork and glass very good. Leather has wear. The fall flap supports are not coming out, the top drawer supports the fall flap.
