am a private clock collector looking to sell my Sinclair
Harding Bracket clock.
The clock was constructed in the late 1960’s and is made to
the very highest of standards; everything was made in house to the individual
customer wishes down to the hands and door hinges.
The large triple chain fusee 9 bell musical fully engraved
movement is of 8 day duration. It plays a choice of either Westminster on 4
bells or Cambridge Chime on 8 bells, with the hourly bell struck on a separate larger
bell. The chime selector is on the rear of the movement and there is a Silent/
Strike subsidiary dial to the front.
The case is made from solid mahogany and the whole clock is
in beautiful original condition.
The clock comes complete with its original pendulum and both
of its original keys, again these were beautify manufactured by Sinclair
Harding in house. I have pictured the main winging key in the picture listing.
As you can see from the pictures, the Pendulum is in its hold fast
carrying position on the Right hand side of the movement.
The movement is in fine working order keeping excellent time,
it strikes the 8 bells exactly how it should each quarter of an hour, and striking
the hours as it should
The clock runs perfectly, and the chimes sound wonderful.
It has had a recent very comprehensive full strip and service
by a Member of the BHI.
The clock is extremely heavy and stands approximately 17. 5
Inches High with the handle raised, 12 Inches wide and 8 inches deep.
These would have been highly expensive clocks to purchase at
the time; they are still manufactured by Sinclair Harding selling for around
Viewing of the clock is encouraged, should you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to call me on either my landline 01349 884177

specialist Art Courier.
