All items are to be paid for in full, with cleared funds, prior to collection or dispatch from Colchester Antiques Ltd. We accept payment by Paypal or direct bank transfer.
We can help arrange delivery of your item with our preferred couriers and will offer a full refund and return service, with no quibbles, for any damaged goods, late deliveries or other problems associated with delivery by our preferred courier. Contact us with a full delivery address and we will provide either with a quote for delivery or a quote for an item including delivery.
Moving antique furniture is a specialist skill and as such we do not advise customers to use the cheapest delivery service available for obvious reasons. If you have specific delivery requirements the onus is on the customer to give prior warning (e.g. parking distance/security, steps and stairs, delivery to a specific room, and difficult access) so that we can liase with the courier and identify any extra charges that may have to be applied prior to agreeing a price. As standard deliveries are made by one man and are 'door step drop' only.
Returns are accepted up to 14 days from date of purchase. Goods damaged in transit, not as described or unreasonably delayed will be returned at our own cost. Any item can be returned at the buyers cost, via our preferred courier, as long as it is in the same condition as when dispatched by Colchester Antiques Ltd. Once an item is returned to Colchester Antiques and is checked and confirmed to be in good condition a refund will be made to the buyer with in 24 hours.
