This is a stunning big chain driven clock 8 days and with two cylinder brass lead filled weights.
The clock is set in a nut wood case and is in beautiful condition.
The top hood slides in and out and the tail section also, the tailed section is held in by 2 brass pins, one on each side.
Real glass panels to the sides and front door.
The dial has a stunning painted detailed scenery on the dial and complete with a large rolling moon phase.
The pendulum is brass and swings inside the clock, this can be seen via the glass solid brass surround window at the bottom of the tail section.
We placed some card to the back of the tail section as the pendulum caught the case on movement maybe down to our walls.. Some velvet wall protectors may be better or card so the pendulum does not catch when swinging.
The clock also strikes to a bell once on the half and once on the hour.
This may need looking into as from experience it should strike the bell on the hour for as many time is on the hour.
On the top are 3 solid brass removable figures..
This clock date to the 70s..
Clock is listed as defect and restorable project due to the listed defects above with no returns..
88cms high/ 25cms across/ 17cms depth..
Clock may be sent via 2 packages due to it's weigh & size.
